Anya Mashaney

Anya (Taschereau) Mashaney was born in Southern California but proudly calls Oklahoma home. Her family relocated from Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California to Tinker Air Force Base when she was eight, settling in Northeast Edmond. It didn’t take long for Oklahoma to feel like home!

A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, Anya earned her Bachelor's degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Human Services. While in college, she landed a job as an administrative assistant at a small, independent real estate brokerage. Real estate hadn’t been part of her original plan, but she quickly discovered it was a natural fit — blending her love of people with her educational background. Before long, she earned her real estate license and put her experience in listing marketing, contract management, and closing coordination to work for her clients. At just 25, she took the next step and became a broker — a move that allowed her to lead, mentor, and keep growing.

Anya has made her mark not only as a Realtor®, but also as a dedicated industry leader. She’s served on professional standards committees at the local, state, and national levels, graduated from OKCMAR and OAR’s leadership academies, and even launched and chaired OKCMAR's Young Professionals Network. In 2019, she was recognized by the National Association of Realtors® as one of their prestigious 30 Under 30 honorees. She also holds the At Home With Diversity (AHWD) and Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) designations and is a proud Major Investor in RPAC - advocating for the real estate industry, private property rights, and homeownership.

Anya stays deeply involved in her community. She serves on the board of Rotary International’s Midtown OKC chapter and is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Oklahoma City chapter. She’s also a passionate supporter of Sisu Youth Services, helping raise funds and awareness for local youth experiencing homelessness.

These days, Anya is happily rooted in Northwest Central OKC, where she lives with her husband John, their daughters, and their two dogs. She’s a big fan of all things local - from restaurants and bars to galleries, concerts, and boutique shopping - and loves being part of the vibrant energy that makes Oklahoma City feel like home.
